Ted & Carole's 50th Anniversary

We celebrated mom and dad's 50th anniversary a couple of weeks ago.  To there disliking we had a open house for them.  It was a lot of fun seeing what great friends came to share this special day with them.

Brett's MTC Pictures

Brett sent his memory card home so that we could print them off.  It was a good idea but need less to say we are not sure how is in the pictures with him, so I guess he will have to write and tell us.  There is one picture with four elder's in there suits and it is Brett and three other elder's that he went to school with.  By lots of the pictures on his memory card it looks he did have some time to have fun.  After 100 day's in the MTC waiting for all his paper work sorted out they finally sent him to Flaggstaff Arizona on a temporary assignment until every thing gets sorted out and then he will be going to Mexico City.  His extended stay in the MTC was good for Del and I as we have had a few calls from him and it was so good to hear his voice.

Last long weekend of the summer and Brady came home.  He didn't really want to be doing this but there was no one to drive the tractor so that Del could do the stoking.  It was the only warm day of the weekend.  They had lot's of fun even with Brady's fast turns around the corners.

After leaving Nauvoo we traveled back to Toronto.  On the way back we spent a day at Indiana Dunes.  Once back in Toronto we went up the CN Tower.  Del was now sure about being up that high.
